Tumblr was getting boring... so I'm back!
It's been a quiet few months, nothing much has changed unless to count the excessive amounts of money I spend on food. Quite ridiculous really considering but for Adriano Zumbo and heavenly burgers at Charlie and Co. Burgers I think it's money well spent. Maybe I'll start a food blog in the future, when I get a decent camera. Maybe.

Will be blogging more in the future. Stay tuned. :)

Toodles.

Dear lovely readers/followers/strangers,

This blog hasn't been very visual, has it?
And it probably hasn't given you much of an insight into what I'm like.
So, I've made a tumblr.
http://strangerthingsandmore.tumblr.com/
That way I can ask you question and you can ask me questions. Not that you would want to.
They'll be heaps of pretty pictures and you might get a glimpse of my life.

Regards,

peekaboo.

fifty seven: full of wonder

I'm running lost in a world full of wonders.
Everyone around know what they're looking for, yet I'm just wandering around picking out detailed things I like without direction. Aimless. I know there are things missing, but what are they? Do I believe I can fulfill my life by simply appreciating things, being lost without a purpose? I walk past people and they give me smiles, giving praises of what I can be. Can or will I ever be that person they see?
I know I'm missing something in my life....
Love perhaps? Happiness? I don't know.
How am I meant to look when I don't know what I'm looking for?

Most of the time we feel. Most of the time we think. Most of the time we act. Most of the time we reason. Most of the time we wrong.

Sometimes we are to believe. Sometimes we are to have faith. Sometimes we are tempted. Sometimes we are to speculate.

Rarely at times are we spontaneous. Rarely at times are we pure logic. Rarely at times are we right.

Sadly, all this time we are human.

fifty five: and off we go...

Where to go?

To go where nobody knows

To go over those mountains

And under that bridge,

Just over there,

Can't you see?

To go alone.

Adventurous me.

Experience

Breathe the unknown and

Do everything I please.

Then,

To go and come back

Home.

And to those familiar trees,

The evergreens I used to climb

The smell of mother's pie

and Father's wine.

To go and come back.

Yes, please.

fifty four: conversing with the future.

2011, you have finally greeted us with your presence. About time too, I was getting sick of 2010. So what will you have install for us? Lets start with the obvious. Work and heck lot of it I'm guessing. Don't smirk at me, you know there will be plenty of work for me! Not you and there's no need to feel smug about putting me into difficult situations. Let see....Oh yes, there going to be some pretty screwed up weather I predict. What did you say, 2011? You can't help it? Pish posh. You just want us to suffer through annoying blocked noses and sore throats. So far, all this information is making you sound similar to 2010. Why don't you encourage some optimism? At least for me? Oh, plenty of new friends? And I won't procrastinate as much? Now you're starting to sound promising but the look in your eyes are tell me there more. Whattt? I'm going to have plenty of social problems? And a possible romance? You have to at least say I'm going to be able to go travelling. Pretty please? With a cherry on top? Don't like cherries.. then... um.. chocolate. Pretty please with some chocolate sprinkles on top. Yes, so I'm going to be travelling. Will that leave me enough to buy a new laptop? Yes? Oh great! You are much better than 2010. (Don't tell him I said that) I'm sure you and I are going create plenty of great memories together. Nice doing business with you and you better keep your part of the deal.

fifty three: nightmare before Christmas

No, I am not stealing the title from the movie before you start spouting the ethics of plagiarism. The phrase just so coincidentally describes my situation. I don't even want to recount it because it was so horrific so you'll have to take my word for it.

Now that it's actually Christmas I hope I can put that horrid day behind me and sincerely wish you all a Merry Christmas! Hope you wishes come true and yadi yadi yah. You've heard it all I bet. Saying the same thing every year and repeating it to everyone we know but do we mean it? I doubt it. The words have been overused and have become equivalent to manners. (How many time do we actually mean it when we say 'thank you?' There's a thought you can ponder on.) So I am here to think of an original, meaningful Christmas greeting:

Christmas. 25th of December. A celebration of a birthday. An excuse to get drunk. A time to get together. Whatever your interpretation of Christmas is - religious or not - Christmas is a time where everyone wants to achieve happiness. So I hope everyone who reads this are happy on Christmas, for whatever reason (the drunks, drugged and sick included)
